Beginner Stained Glass (Wednesday Mornings 9:00AM-12 noon, or Wednesday Evenings 6:00-9:00 -Five Week Class) Classes are offered at the Gallery on a regular basis. The Beginner's Stained Glass (copper foil technique) class runs for five weeks (3 hours per session) at a cost of $225 which includes the instruction and use of the grinders and hand tools (with exception of the glass cutter), chemicals, foil, solder, and finishing materials for the class project. Students will be expected to purchase the cutter and glass for their project. All materials (except already discounted kits) can be purchased at the gallery at a 10% discounted student rate. Classes are small with much individual instruction. Attendance at first class is mandatory.

Lead Technique or Copper Foil Intermediate Class (Thursday Evenings 6:00-9:00-Five Week Class): Intermediate students may work with the copper foil or lead technique. Students new to lead will be taught the lead came method of stained glass. Since a Beginners' Copper Foil class is a prerequisite, this class will focus on the differences in working with lead came. Discussions include safety, types of lead came, prepping and cutting a pattern, grinding, cutting and fitting lead came, soldering, cleaning, and framing. The class cost is $235 which includes instruction, use of tools and grinder, lead, zinc, solder, chemicals, stop blocks, and nails. Students with larger projects will pay a prorated fee for lead. Students will supply the glass for their project, which is available at the gallery.
